Planning drawings enable us to see the appearance of the finished project, in order to assess its size; whether it is in keeping with its surrounds; and whether it may present issues to, or raise complaints from, neighbouring properties.
As such, these plans must be accurate, clear and comprehensive, containing all the information required by the local Planning Department, as these form the basis of their decision.
Not all residential extensions require planning permission, under ‘Permitted Development’; but since there can be some uncertainty under new laws, we would advise that you at least apply for a Certificate of Lawful Development in order to prevent any unnecessary delays.
All drawings and paperwork are submitted to the Council via online services in order to speed up the Planning Process and Robert J Burton are happy to liaise with the Planning Department on your behalf in respect of all Planning issues.
