Building Regulations Requirements

 

Where necessary, these Regulations are intended to ensure people’s health, safety and wellbeing, as well as accessibility, in and around buildings. In addition, they aim to reduce fuel and power consumption; protect and enhance the Environment; and promote sustainable development.

You may take on any form of construction you wish within your Build, however you will must satisfy the District Council that Building Regulations requirements have been adhered to within your Project.

 

Building Regulation Approval requires additional, more detailed drawings, to include Cross Sections of the proposed build, that incorporate further notes in compliance with Building Regulations, i.e. foundation depths, build material specifications, structural support specifications, disabled access etc.

 

Should you require Building Regulations Approval, we will submit the necessary Plans and Application to your Local Authority, as well as supplying a copy to you for use in the Project.
